Metric has direct experience with USGBC and Energy Star Programs in the corporate, residential, institutional, and commercial sectors. We have trained LEED professionals as well as ongoing product training on newly developed sustainability products for the construction industry.
MassDevelopment selected Metric to develop and construct energy efficient housing in Devens to promote the practice of building affordable green housing. In addition, we are working on incorporating new building schemes that combat the current financial constraints faced in the mid rise, urban infill market. We are working on sustainable and cost effective designs for the multi family and institutional markets.
Our access to BIM software creates clear communication between ourselves, architects, and owners to accurately view the construction cycle from start to completion. It allows us to view projects in three dimensional images which reduces conflicts in the design phase therefore increasing productivity in the field.
