Metric is pleased to announce that the Greystone Mills project has received the Preservation Project Award from the Rhode Island Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission. This award honors contributions to historic preservation by individuals and organizations as well as significant restoration projects. The award presentation is part of the statewide preservation community event, “Rhode Island Preservation Celebration!” to be held on October 29th at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

The following quote is from the Rhode Island Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission:

To celebrate great preservation achievements across the state, Preserve Rhode Island, the statewide non-profit preservation organization, and the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission, the state historic preservation office, now collaborate to present the Rhode Island Historic Preservation Awards. We are very pleased to present the Preservation Project Award to the Greystone Mills.

The state awards honor contributions to historic preservation by individuals and organizations as well as significant restoration projects. In making this award, we particularly note the high quality of the restoration of this important industrial complex.
